Age is something that doesn't matter, unless you are a cheese.

Male (39) looking for Female Atlanta, Georgia, United States

I'll begin by saying that I'm often misinterpreted when people first meet me. I'm pretty introverted and I'm also very analytical, so when I I'm first getting to know a person, I'm pretty quiet. I'm trying to figure them out. Sometimes this comes across as distant. Really, it's just that I'm more interested in getting to know a person for real. Small talk isn't what interests me, and I'm not very good at it. I struggle to open up to people, but that's because being honest and real is difficult, but it's all that matters as far as I?m concerned. I tend to be pretty critical of myself, so I try to be smart about how I live my life. This includes being financially responsible. Also, I love my work, and I want to be proud of what I do, so I work hard. As for interests, I enjoy photography (recently bought my first SLR camera), rock climbing, swing dancing, Ultimate Frisbee, and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Other things to know: I'm a picky eater; finding a parking space stresses me out; I deal with conflict quickly (although I don't enjoy it); I was home school and church raised (although I'm not spending as much time at church these days); I'm good with technology, but can't fix a car to save my life; and I have an odd love of helicopters. They say that opposites attract. I'm open to that idea, but I suspect that for me, someone similar (analytical, introverted, etc.) will be the right match. It may not be obvious right away, but I really care about the people who I get to know at a deeper level.
